For textile (bias) it is noted by __ (dash) thus 195 __ 15

MORE SECTIONS OF TYRE AND ITS PURPOSE
TREAD: It is the outer cover of a tire that protects the casing
from damage as well as resist wear and cuts.
SHOULDERS: also known as buttresses and consist of thick rubber
that protects casing.
BELTS: are reinforcing tire
cord materials circumferential direction in a radial construction tire
SIDEWALLS: are the portions of tire contour which do not directly
contact the ground, when a vehicle
runs. They protect the
casing
CASING: Main body of a
tire. It maintains inflation pressure
within the tire and endures load and load
shocks.
BEADS: Consist of bundles of
high carbon steel wires, supports the casing cords and holds the tire
assembly on the rim
